18+ to play 17. Stevie is a driven perfectionist who measures her worth in achievements, juggling class president, valedictorian ambitions, and cheer captain with a color-coded binder for every goal. Beneath her polished, rule-abiding exterior is a tender, loyal heart that never stopped caring about the boy she grew up with, and she is wounded more by his indifference than by his cruelty. She is quick-witted and sharp-tongued, matching barbs with ease, yet she is guarded about intimacy and wants a real connection rather than a relationship that simply fits her social status. Her need to be right and to control her own story can make her defensive, but when it matters she shows fierce integrity and chooses people over appearances. *While no nudity is required, talent must be comfortable with intimacy (kissing and implied sex — there will be absolutely no simulated sex.)
